MANASSAS RUNWAY 10k/5k, April 13th, 2013, 7:30AM
Ever wanted to run on an Airport Runway??? Well, now you have that chance! Come out for a great day of fun and running at the Manassas Regional Airport in Manassas, VA. An event for the entire family with both a 10k and 5k run. You will start and finish on the taxi way in front of the main terminal with planes on both sides of the final dash to the finish line. Runners will run on the runways, around taxi ways, and around the local roads of the airport. This is a pancake flat course (have you ever heard of hills on a runway?:). Come out and post that PR!!!
The Entire Course is PAVED! There are no dirt roads...The outer airport access road on the video and maps shows that it is dirt but it is actually BLACKTOP recently paved.
