The BRATS Triathlon and Youth Triathlon Event #1 is an event for everyone from
novice to experienced. An adult race
followed by a youth race makes for a great family event and a chance for the
youth to take part in the sport of triathlon.
The event is being held in the community of Vint Hill in Warrenton, VA
where there is very little traffic.
T-shirts to all registrants, great awards, medals to all finishers (adult &
youth) and a flat course make this event one not to miss.
Adult Course:
Swim: 150 meter Pool snake swim
Bike: 12.4 miles; 2 loop course on slightly rolling scenic roads
Run: 3 miles out & back within the Vint Hill Farms community
Youth:
7-10: Swim 50 meters; Bike 1.8 miles, Run .68 miles
11-15: Swim 100 meters; Bike 3.2 miles; Run 1.2 miles

Youth Triathlon - $35
Note: On-line Registration for this event closes on 07-18-2008 at 7:00 AM.
Registration during Packet Pickup
available on Friday July 18 and Saturday July 19th.
There is a $10.00 fee for each non-USAT registrant.
Youth must pay $5 for a yearly membership with USAT.
Event Site Rules
No parking at the transition site (Larry Weeks Pool).
Parking is available at the community center and across from the
community center. Marshallers will
be available to assist in parking.

At the race site - Make sure you bring your photo ID and USAT card so you don't
have to ride back to get it!
No same day registration!
Pre-Race Meeting: A short briefing will take place at Larry Weeks Pool race
morning at 6:45. An in depth meeting will take place at 3PM on Saturday at
Riptide Swim and Tri. If you are a beginner, youth or this is your first race,
come to this meeting.
2008 Refund Policy:
There are no refunds once registration is complete.

Prince William Swim League Participants:
If you are 18 or younger and swim on a PWSL swim team, make sure to input your
team on registration. Each team with at least 8 participants have a chance to
have $200 donated to their team and the first place team based on the top 5
times will receive 1st place team medals.
